We all know that emergencies have a way of presenting themselves at awkward or inconvenient times. Faced with an immediate need for legal advice at 8 pm on a Saturday night and knowing no lawyers in or around Atlantic City, we consulted the internet and came away with three candidates that sounded good to us. We called all three. Two of the three had “away” messages that said “Please leave a message. We will return your call on Monday.” Mr. Michael Schreiber answered our call on the first ring. After a few pleasantries, he went right to work, asking us key questions and carefully providing critical information to us. The conversation lasted from about 9 pm to 10 pm. The call did not end until we had a preliminary game plan in place moving forward as well as a pledge on our part to retain Mr. Schreiber to guide us through a process that we knew nothing about.

Since that time, we have had the opportunity to see how Mr. Schreiber works on a day-to-day basis. Two things stand out. One is his excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. The other one is that he consistently makes a point of separating wheat from chaff, that is to say case-applicable fact from fiction. By focusing, Mr. Schreiber gets right to the heart of the matter, which in turn leads to economies of time and money. No nonsense, no fluff, just careful and thorough championing of positions that are in his clients’ best interest. In a word, very professional.
